FAMILIAR FACES CONTINUE TO SHOW OUT
+ 2025 RHP Slade Shove-Knox (Sulphur HS)
Fresh off a stellar spring for the Tors that saw him post a 5-3 record with 59 K's across 48 IP; Shove-Knox showed well at our Team Louisiana Scout Day on Sunday. He posted personal bests in the 60 (7.04) and max exit velocity (94.6 mph), but on the mound is where the upside lies at the next level, and he turned in a solid bullpen. Shove-Knox worked his 85-89 mph FB to both sides of the plate with a true four-seamer and a two-seamer with arm-side run. His feel for spin on both his CB and SL are both advanced with elite spin rates near 2900 RPM's. Add to that a late-fading 77-78 mph CH that he continues to show improved feel for and you've got a starter's profile with the potential for four above average pitches.

The @PBR_Uncommitted junior was a recent 📈 in our state rankings. Athletic with a quick arm & advanced feel for spin. CH continues to improve as well. #BeSeen #TeamLAScoutDay

+ 2025 SS Brock Laird (Natchitoches Central HS)
Laird has been a model of consistency ever since we first started following him a couple of years ago, and on Sunday, he reminded us of why he has been and will continue to be a successful player. The former Future Gamer and Southeastern Louisiana recruit took arguably the cleanest round of infield on the day, displaying crisp actions, soft hands, and an accurate arm across the diamond. His infield velocity got up to a personal best 84 mph as well. At the plate, it's a simple and repeatable swing with a direct path that works through the middle of the field that registered a max exit velocity of 95.4 mph.

The former Future Gamer & @LionUpBaseball recruit continues to get stronger. G2G, line drive approach with a 95.4 mph max EV yesterday. Took the best INF round as well. #BeSeen #TeamLAScoutDay@prepbaseball pic.twitter.com/ufTm0CqqQ9
+ 2025 INF/RHP Jackson Beddoe (Sulphur HS)
The 5'11" 180 lbs. Sulphur Tor is another former Future Gamer that enjoyed a nice day on Sunday. Beddoe recorded an event-best 6.68 laser-timed 60, which was also a personal best for him. That type of speed was good to see, as it projects him to allow for a move to the outfield if need be in the future. Offensively, he showed the same present bat speed that we've seen over the last couple of years with a gap to gap approach that resulted in exit velocities up to 94.8 mph. On the mound, there's some intrigue as well with a FB up to 89 mph and developing feel for his secondary offerings.

The former Future Gamer posted an event-best 6.68 in the 60 and was up to 94.8 mph off the bat. Potential upside on the mound as well with a mid-upper 80’s FB. Still @PBR_Uncommitted. #BeSeen #TeamLAScoutDay@prepbaseball |… pic.twitter.com/eCgbWPZz8S
YOUNG BUCKS TO KEEP AN EYE ON
+ 2028 LHP/1B Tanner Conley (Fontainebleau HS)
The former Jr. Future Gamer showed up noticeably more physical on Sunday, standing in at 6'2" 165 lbs. and there's still quite a bit of projection left. Conley took a solid round of batting practice with most of his present strength to the pull-side. On the mound, however, is where he really shined and showed a lot of future promise as a prospect. The southpaw worked at a controlled pace throughout his delivery with a gradual build-up, before using a shorter arm stroke to release the ball from a 3/4 slot. After a full workout on a long and hot day, Conley's FB sat 78-81 mph and he showed the ability to drive it in to his glove side as well as run it away to his arm side, and we fully expect for that velocity to tick up even more this summer. His 71-72 mph SL showed some sweep across the zone with spin rates up to 2519 RPM's and he was also able to kill spin on a firmer 74-75 mph CH.

+ 2027 OF Cooper Hawkins (St. Thomas More HS)
Hawkins was another good-looking young prospect who we hadn't seen in almost twelve months, and you could definitely tell that he's gained strength since our last look. 6'1" 185 lbs. frame with a strong lower-half, the St. Thomas More product works from a slightly open and upright stance before using a controlled "hover" type of load to get to center. He uses strong wrists and forearms to deliver a heavy barrel to contact working mostly up the middle and to the pull-side. Hawkins drove several balls during BP that resulted in a 92.1 mph max exit velocity. He also flashed a strong and accurate arm from the OF at 84 mph. Hawkins projects as a corner outfielder for now with the bat being his loudest carrying tool.

Another good-looking young @PBR_Uncommitted prospect from yesterday’s #TeamLAScoutDay. Present bat speed & pull-side strength with a 92.1 mph max EV. Also, up to 84 mph from the OF. #BeSeen@prepbaseball | @AlexArmandPBR pic.twitter.com/GUshZELesO
+ 2027 RHP/OF Lincoln Guillory (Teurlings Catholic HS)
Physical 6'2" 195 lbs. frame with long limbs and a strong lower-half. Teurlings Catholic Head Coach Brooks Badeaux told us that he really likes his 2027 class and after seeing Guillory on Sunday, we can see why. He provided an eye-opening look at his arm strength during the defensive workout, as he posted an event-best 91 mph from the outfield, and on the mound is where he really shined. Working exclusively from the stretch, Guillory strides slightly across his body to create a little "cross-fire" action, which provides a tough look for right-handed hitters. His FB sat 81-84 mph with some arm-side sink & run and his 76-77 mph SL showed promise with some sweep across the zone.

Part of a talented ‘27 class for the Rebels. Projectable frame, creates a tough look, especially for RHH’s. Also, recorded an event best 91 mph OF velo at yesterday’s #TeamLAScoutDay. #BeSeen
