2016 Massachusetts Spring Team Preview: Worcester Academy

Team Name: Worcester Academy
Head Coach: Jim McNamara
Division: Prep School
2015 Record: 25-6
Conference: Central New England Prep School League
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/2

Overall Thoughts:

  • "Offensively we'll be able to swing it 1-9 and run the bases aggressively. On the defensive side of things we should have no problem making the everyday play and we have some players who can really flash the leather. As far as the pitching goes - we're relatively young besides our top arms but the staff continues to improve and should have a promising Spring."

2016 Team Strengths:

  • Speed defensively and offensively
  • Power
  • Top of pitching rotation is very strong

2016 Team Weaknesses:

  • No true weakness yet at least
