2019 Scout Day: The Show Baseball Academy - Sneak Peek

Positional

Patrick D'Amico 3B / SS / St. John's, MA / 2021

Report: 5-foot-11, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 7.2 sixty at the event. The frame projects to fill out nicely, and should be physical as he matures in years. The glove is solid in the infield, the feet are worked appropriately. The arm has strength to it and he moves laterally well. Threw 75 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The bat has good life to it, tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The set up is even in base, and the bottom half is under control throughout. The hands work freely to the ball, 1-handed finish after contact. The path can be flattened as he matures, but the life in the barrel is advanced at his age. Solid prospect who should garner Division 1 interest as he matures.
