Pitchers

+Heading up the list is Albany commit and Hammond LHP David Hutchison. The southpaw will play a major role in the success of Hammond during the 2016 season…Severna Park RHP Spencer Dietrich quietly had a very successful season for the Falcons in 2016 and will give the Falcons a chance to win plenty of games with their strong lineup…Erik Janss of Avalon was a workhorse for the team and that will not change heading into the upcoming season…Brendan Collins of Sherwood will play a big role for an experienced Warriors team looking to make a run in the 4A class…Zac Stoll is a key arm for Mount St. Joseph and will pace the Gaels performance in the MIAA A…Keep an eye on Wes Martin on a Winters Mill team that could surprise this 2016...Chris Blair should play a bigger role on the Southern pitching staff as they look replace Truman Thomas in their quest for a three-peat.

Catchers

+Zach Adams was one of the top catchers on the Eastern Shore last season and will once again head up the Stephen Decatur lineup this season…Brady O’Neil will be one of the big run producers for St. Mary’s this year and be a tough one to run on in the MIAA “A”.

Infield

+1B Kody Milton made a quick name for himself as a freshmen last year for Severna Park and will be one of the more feared hitters in the state at the corner for the Falcons…INF Eric Lansinger did it all for Damascus last season and was a key in their surprising playoff run last year. He will be called on to do it again in 2016…SS Joey Hall will be a key player for DeMatha this season as they hope to make another run in the WCAC…INF Connor Shockley hit .514 in limited time last year for Parkside coming off of injury and will be one player to make up for the Rams loss of numerous stars from 2015.

Outfield

+Chase Ragsdale will be a dangerous threat at the top of the order for a Bishop McNamara team that could be a sleeper team this year in the WCAC…Ethan Gallagher will pick up plenty of slack for Mount St. Joseph after losing Clark Clatchey and Andre Brown to graduation…Billy Godrick is one of the many athletic and talented position players for Spalding in their quest for a three-peat.

Utility

+RHP/C Alex Parker is a feared backstop in the MIAA, controlling the running game and may play a bigger role in the pitching staff this season for the Eagles…RHP/INF Casey Crawford was a major key for Howard last season and looks to make even more of an impact for the Lions this 2016.
