Please describe your Future Games Experience
+I really enjoyed playing in this years Future Games. It was amazing how many colleges were there watching us play baseball. I really enjoyed meeting and playing with and against great players from all over the country in my class. Everything from the combine to the games were run very smoothly and I would do it again anytime. The facility in Indy was a great place where you received maximum exposure.
+Yes.
What is your timeline for making a decision?
+ My timeline for choosing a college is between now and the beginning of my senior year of high school. I want to make sure I make the right decision so I am going to take my time in deciding.
What are you looking for in your college choice?
+My strengths as a player are my arm, bat and speed. My arm continues to get stronger, staying 85 and above all year in the outfield. I have played right field a lot over the last two years, including starting almost every game there at Calvert Hall this Spring and for US Elite this summer. My bat speed continues to improve and my power numbers are going up. My speed is the one I work the hardest at and this year I have been consistently under 7.0 in the 60-yard dash with my best time being 6.77 at a Clemson showcase in June. I still have a lot of work to do as I know I need to get faster and stronger to succeed at the highest levels of this game.
Are there any areas of your game you would like to improve?
+I feel in baseball you always need to work and improve on what you have. By my senior year in high school I would like to be running under 6.8 consistently, have a bat exit speed of over 97 mph off a tee and arm strength consistently in the low 90's. I am willing to put in the work to achieve these goals.
What travel organization do you play for and/or what have you learned this summer?
+I play for US Elite 2018's National Team. As I have watched numerous players on my team go through the recruiting process and commit to schools, I have learned how the process works and what I need to do to play D1 baseball. US Elite has taught me that hard work in and out of the classroom is something the best players do on a daily basis to be successful playing high level college ball. They also taught me to hustle all of the time when you are on a baseball field. We run full sprint to and from our position every inning. We run as hard as we can to first base no matter where you hit the ball, even a slow-roller to the pitcher. We are taught if you out hustle your opponent and you will win most of the time.
