On Saturday, February 10th, the PBR Mid-Atlantic ProCase will add to our pro coverage and give scouts the first look of the new year into the 2018 draft class along with select 2019 and 2020 grads

The Super 60, held in Chicago at the beginning of February, has become one of the more well attended pro showcases on the circuit, simply due to the caliber of players in attendance. We have seen more than 100 professional scouts year after year at the Super 60. Similarly, the ProCase will bring draft potential candidates from our area into one location to showcase their abilities in front of the professional scouting community.

The event will be held in Henrico, VA at the TSI Training Center, which includes a full sized infield that will allow for open hitting and plenty of room for defensive evaluations.

Since its inception in 2005, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state. Now, more than 850 colleges and pro scouts subscribe to the Prep Baseball Report services.  We take great pride in providing the most thorough and comprehensive high school baseball coverage in each state.

We continue our breakdown of the talent who will be in attendance.

Scouting Report

Maryland Scout Blog 4/5/17

Projectable frame with long arms. Free arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot. Creates fast arm speed pitching with light effort. Has a bit of old school in delivery. Lower half works well, good backside involvement, opens up a bit early with some cross body action. Fastball was straight at 87-91 mph. Was around the strike zone, when he showed best command, he was able to create two plane action on the fastball. was able to keep velocity when he did this as well. Breaking ball had 11/5 action with late movement and ranged from 72-73 mph. More in the tank as he adds to his frame. Could be a very interesting 2018 prospect.

7.28.16 - Was one of the players to stand out the most during the Big 26 Clash held in Waldorf Maryland. Has a long and lanky frame with room to grow. Loose arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. Easy actions from the outfield with carry on the throws. Has a short swing and average bat speed. Stays inside ball well when needed to. On the mound has been 84-86 and shows a high upside there. Won't be uncommitted for long.
