PBR Notes

11.5.16:  Projectable pitchers frame at 6-foot-3, 205-pounds. Compact, controlled delivery with buildup throughout. Longer free arm action throwing from a high three-quarters arm angle that creates fast arm speed through extension. Shows a nice lower half with good backside follow through and slight hip load. Looks like could get some lower half usage. Lands square to the plate while pitching with regular effort. Fastball is straight with slight sink at times. Ranged from 85-87 topping out at 88mph. Breaking ball has 12/6 shape. Later break with some depth and near fastball arm speed. Showed good feel for changeup that had later dive to the pitch wit near fastball arm speed. Has made a strong climb since summer in velocity should be a 2018 to keep an eye on.

Taeschner is currently ranked No.40 in the PBR Maryland 2018 rankings and should move up with the new updated 2018 rankings coming soon. He is currently uncommitted.
