On Sunday February 18th PBR Maryland will host the Preseason All-State at Diamond Pros baseball facility in Glen Arm, MD. The biggest event prior to the high school season in Maryland will feature some of the top players and prospects around the state and put them all on one stage in front of the PBR scouting staff. As with all PBR events, all players will get their performance videoed and professionally edited to update or start their PBR Profile. Today we spotlight one of the players on the roster for the event.

Scouting Report
8.4.16 - Showed off one of the top outfield velocities of the event with a 90 mph arm from right field on the day. Throws had life on them and were accurate. Short quick arm action from the outfield. Hits from slightly open taller setup . Nice rhythm at plate. Short swing path, gets around the ball at times. Quick bat speed. 89 mph exit velocity and ran a 7.12 60-yard dash.
6.21.16 - Athletic frame at 6-foot 175-pounds. Projectable athlete in the 2018 class. Hits from an athletic setup. Short load to stride. Slightly closes off to hitting position. Short path to the ball with some extension through contact. Shows good rhythm in swing. Active feet defensively. Clean hands and exchange. Long loose arm action throwing from an almost over the top arm angle.
3.20.16 - Brooks Bengston came in relief for Georgetown Prep and got up to 85 on the mound. He mainly pitched 82-85 with a fast tempo on the mound and quick delivery. Controlled running game well on the mound and quick to the plate. Threw 74 mph change with fade.
3.5.16 - 2018 Brooks Bengston was another interesting outfield prospect in centerfield. Athletic frame, some arm strength and short swing at the plate. Moves well.
