Scouting Report (Maryland Preseason ID 2.21.16)
Solid frame at 5-foot-11, 245-pounds. Loose whippy arm action with quick arm speed. Controlled delivery and could get more backside to get better lower half involvement to release point. Throws from a high ¾ arm angle. Fastball has slight run and sink to the pitch at 82 mph. Breaking ball has hard 1/7 action on the pitch at 62 mph. Throws it with near fastball arm speed. Changeup has fade to the pitch with near fastball arm speed at 68 mph. Nice foundation and pitch ability on the mound.

Scouting Report (PBR Future Games 8.4.16)
Was the Mid-Atlantic sleeper infielder from the event. Athletic actions and projectable frame. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash, loose arm that was up to 82 across the diamond. Beginning to show more strength with an exit velocity of 88 from the left side and 89 from the right. Is more comfortable hitting right handed but still shows potential from the left. Load got him on timing from the left side. Still room for growth from the prospect and potential to play at a high level.

Josh Seils RHP Sherwood 2017
Towson

Scouting Report
9.16 - Seils has continued to project over the summer. A long and lanky frame with projection. Getting more looks on the mound with his body now and showing off a fastball in the mid 80's with room for more.
