On Wednesday June 26th PBR Maryland will host the Top Prospect Games West at Mount St. Mary's University. The event annually attracts the states top uncommitted prospects and this year will be no different. This year's event is already loaded with the top 2020, 2021, 2022's from across the state of Maryland. Today we spotlight a player who will be in attendance.

MD Preseason All State
5-foot-11, 162-pound projectable athletic frame. Athletic square stance hitting from the left side. Hands load back with some rhythm, small pickup to striding slightly closed, and short path to the ball. Slightly uphill bat path, high finish, and stays on the ball through extension. Swing has some gap to gap potential with some projection to add strength and power to the frame. Exit velocity was 89 mph. Active and under control on approach to catch, clean exchange, and a crow hop to explode through the throw. Arm action was longer and showed some arm speed throwing from a low three-quarter arm slot at 84 mph. Home-1st time displayed some quickness with a 4.08.
MD Eastern Shore Showcase
Athletic body type and 5-foot-10, 150 pound frame. Hits from the left side in a balanced, athletic, square stance. Sinks upper body slightly into a compact position during load. Short stride and strong lower half involvement in swing. Short, slightly uphill swing path and fast bat speed. Whips barrel through the zone with an 82 mph exit velo. Gap-to-gap line drive type hitter with occasional pop. Stays behind the ball really well with good balance and gets good extension through contact. Plays through the ball in the outfield with quick fundamental footwork. Showed quick, clean exchanges and throws with long arm action from a mid three-quarters slot at 78 mph. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Up-tempo side-step wind-up and high leg kick into a tall balanced position. Clean hand separation and strong lower half drive. Throws with long arm action from a high three-quarters slot with easy effort. Lands square to the plate with an athletic finish. Showed some arm speed through release. Fastball sat 77-78 mph, breaking ball had short 12/6 break at 71-74 mph, and change-up was 71-72 mph.
