With the 2015-2016 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, PBR Maryland will take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects from the 2016 and 2017 class at each position.

Today we are looking at the top uncommitted corner infielders in the state. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as you can see by our 2016 Rankings there are numerous talented prospect still available.

TOP UNCOMMITTED MIDDLE INFIELDERS

Scouting Report:
Athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 160-pounds. Throws from a low three-quarter arm angle. Throws have average carry across the field at 73 mph. Has sound footwork with clean hands and exchange. Hits from an athletic setup. Has a sort path to the ball with some bat speed. Gap-to-gap type hitter. Shows good balance throughout swing. Exit velocity of 87 mph. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash.

Athletic frame at 6-foot-1 170-pounds. Hits from a slightly open set up. Short stride and fluid load. Has rhythm in swing. Short bat path with some bat speed. Stays inside the baseball. Some lower half involvement and room for more. Consistently gets barrel on the ball. Fluid actions from the infield. Loose arm action from a low three-quarter arm angle. Throws had some carry across the diamond at 76 mph. Soft hands, quick and active feet, and a clean exchange. Ran a 4.53 home to first and had an exit velocity of 76 mph.

Athletic frame at 6-foot-1 185-pounds. Loose arm action from a low ¾ arm angle. Accurate throws with average carry at 73 mph. Soft hands, clean exchange and fluid footwork. Solid corner prospect now and would move to middle with increased foot speed. Hits from an open setup that closes a bit in stride. Quick bat speed with a short path to the ball. Gap-to-gap type hitter with rhythm in swing. Potential pop with 89 mph exit velocity. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Interesting prospect to watch in the 2016 class. (committed to Salisbury since article)

Athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds. Has active feet that work thru te ball well. Sound hands and exchange when fielding. Fields ball deep. Quick exchange throwing from a low three-quarter arm angle. Throws have average carry on them at 76 mph. Hits from a athletic setup. Has a level swing path to the ball. Shows some balance throughout swing. Exit velocity of 86 mph. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash.

Projectable frame at 5-foot-10 170-pounds. Has a short arm action throwing from a low ¾ arm slot. Made accurate throws with average carry at 73 mph. Clean footwork that could quicken up and a clean exchange. Hits from slightly open and crouched stance. Bars arm in load with a level bat path. Exit velocity of 81 mph. Runs a 7.58 60-yard dash. Once balance gets stronger should get more lower half involvement. Raw skill set makes for an interesting prospect.
