Uncommitted 2019 Infielders

Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

The Hotlist is examining the top uncommitted 2019 prospects by position. While the speed of recruiting seems to be redlining, there is a ton of talent still available for college programs, not to mention that there is no reason for any players to be wringing their hands over committing just yet. So far, we’ve highlighted pitchers and catchers. Now, we take a look at the available infielders.

Vincent Bianchi, SS/RHP, Red Bank Catholic HS, NJ
Bianchi has a long, wiry-athletic build at 6-foot-2, 160 pounds. He runs a 7.12 60 and hits from a wide, neutral stance. He creates gap-to-gap power with extension through the zone. His hands are whippy and loose and he finishes with some lift in his swing. Defensively, he throws 88 mph across the infield. He’s rangy and athletic in the field with smooth glove work and a quick, easy exchange. He also gets on the mound and is up to 85 with his fastball.
