With our first expansion to the 2019 rankings, we double the rankings total to now the top 20 2019 athletes in the area. It is important to know that the 2019 rankings is going to see the most turnaround in the coming years as PBR continues to travel the area in our never-ending search of talent. There will be new players added in the future and by this time next year, could easily see close to 100 new additions.
New to the rankings and taking hold of the No. 1 spot is Red Lion Christian's (DE) talented pitcher in Nathan Hardcastle. After an impressive summer showing well for the Delaware Diamonds summer program, Hardcastle has elevated to our top spot with his already athletic frame and a fastball that been in the low 90’s.
Second in our rankings is previous No. 1 Thomas Keehn at DeMatha. Keehn has progressed very nicely over the summer showing two-way ability and perking plenty of interest. He shows a projectable body on the mound to go along with strength and gap-to-gap ability at the plate.
Just outside our top 20 at this time but look to make their way into the next installment include Michael Bouma, Brady Drawbaugh, and Joshua Hamer.
