2023 OUTLOOK:
"The Hayfield Vikings are coming off back-to-back appearances in the state championship game, winning state in 2021 and being runner-up in 2022. The Vikings graduated many key pieces from those teams, including 3-time Gopher Conference Player of the Year Easton Fritcher who is now playing for the Minnesota Gophers. The cupboard isn't bare, as program numbers are great for the Vikings. There are 64 players registered to play baseball this spring 7-12th grade. The Hayfield Jr. Legion team made a run to the state tournament this past summer, so there is some good talent coming up through the pipeline."
Kasey Krekling, Hayfield Head Coach
