As part of our High School baseball coverage, we will highlight a portion of the games throughout Missouri each week. Here are some of our featured games from Tuesday March 25:

TUE MARCH 25, 2014

Parkway North 5

Parkway North took the lead in the bottom of the 6th. Westminster tied the game in the top of the 7th and in extra innings blew it open. Brett Bond, Collin Einertson, and Caleb Hicks each had 2 hits for the Wildcats. Russell Susuki, Joey Reeves, Matt Rizzo, and Nick Dannegger each had 2 hits for the Vikings. Caleb Hicks went 3IP, had 5K and 1BB for the W.

Raymore-Peculiar 0

Rockhurst started fast and accelerated past Ray-Pec. Jack Benninghoff tossed a complete game one hitter while adding 9 strikeouts. Vince Saladino had 3 hits. Jack Benninghoff, Jack Mercer, and Trey Vickers each had 2 hits. Kyle Wilson was a bright spot for Ray-Pec on the mound, he threw 4 innings and had 10 strikeouts.

Blue Eye 0

Springfield Catholic's Matthew Tipton was the story of this game. The Fighting Irish hurler racked up 16 strikeouts on his way to a complete game 2-hit shutout. There were only a total of 6 hits in the game by both teams combined.
