Drew Harper, the No. 9 ranked player in the Class of 2013, gives his college commitment

Sikeston HS third baseman Drew Harper (right) became the sixth Class of 2013 play to make his college committment, giving his verbal to SIU-Carbondale.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Harper hit .317 with six doubles, two home runs and fourteen RBIs last season as a sophomore. He is also a veteran of PBR events, highlighted by his participation in the Prep Baseball Report Midwest Futures Games.
