The Missouri high school baseball season is underway. Up to the start of the season, our staff collected various amounts of information on teams across the state. We previewed several teams as 'Opening Day' approached, including the top-10 teams in both our large school and small school rankings.

Our rankings are broken up into two divisions: large school and small schools. We classify the 'large' schools as those residing in Class 5 & 6, while the small schools make up the remaining MSHSAA classifications. We rank what we believe to be the top-10 teams in the state at that level, as well as highlighting several 'On Deck' teams.

We've updated our individual 'Large School' and 'Small School' rankings with yet another week of games played across the state, and while no new teams slot within each list's top-10, we do have some shuffling throughout:

+ Blue Springs South climbs up into the top spot after three wins in the 'River City Classic' tournament that took place in Kansas. Liberty North drops back to the second spot.

+ Francis Howell and Fort Zumwalt West flip spots, as the Vikings now sit at third overall, with the Jaguars slotting down to fourth.

+ On the small school side, Valle Catholic and John Burroughs each rise a spot, now sitting at No. 3 and No. 4 overall, respectively.
