Joseph Costanzo (Rockhurst, 2018) currently attended the Unsigned Senior Showcase in St. Louis in October 1. There, Costanzo posted the top 60 time and showed athletic actions at middle infield.
Here is a look at the recruiting process for Joseph Costanzo.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Costanzo: Definitely a big influence in where I'm looking for college is the quality of academics. I would prefer the school has an undergraduate physical therapy program. Along with this I am looking for a school with a good baseball program tradition.
PBR: How did you do your junior year? What were your high school statistics? And how did your team do?
Costanzo: Junior year went well. I bounced around in the infield between SS and 2B as well as relief pitching. The season ended with a bit of disappointment losing in the district finals.
PBR: What are you goals for your senior season?
Costanzo: My goals for my senior season starts at the top with winning a state championship. Another goal of mine is to take on a leadership position with many other seniors who will step up into this role.
PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?
Costanzo: I play for Building Champions Baseball Academy in the summer, and currently in the fall.
