PBR: What are your high school team goals for 2012 season, and are they being met at the halfway point in the season?

Wolfe: The same that any team strives for: a State Championship. This goal really can’t be met till we get there, but as long as we keep playing as well as we are, we have a good shot of making it.

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer?

Wolfe: Clever

PBR: Who are the toughest pitcher/ hitter that you have faced?

Pitcher: Austin Tribby (Springfield Catholic)

Hitter: Joe Young (Logan-Rogersville)

Wolfe: Making it to the Final Four last spring

PBR: What is your most memorable moment in baseball so far in your life?

Wolfe: Hitting the walk-off homerun against Sparta.

PBR: What are your thoughts on the implementation of BBCOR bats from both hitting and pitching perspective?

Wolfe: I think it’s a good idea. There is a noticeable difference, but not to the point that it takes action out of the game. It really separates the good hitters from the average ones. It forces hitters to make a good contact rather than just putting the bat on the ball. It also makes the game much more centered around defense, which is a huge advantage to my team.
