With a stellar week at the plate, Westminster?s Tate Matheny (right) has earned the Prep Baseball Player of the Week honors.  Matheny, the No. 3 player in the PBR Class of 2012 led No. 14 Westminster to a perfect 3-0 week.

At the plate, Matheny went 7-for-10 with 1 double, 1 triple, 2 homeruns and 8 RBIs. Matheny also scored 6 runs and had 3 stolen bases.

For the season, Matheny is batting .533 with 6 doubles, 9 triples, 7 homes runs and 36 RBIs. He has also scored 40 runs and has 20 stolen bases.
