As we started rolling out the Deep Dives on some of the top hitters in the state leading into the 2021 season we come upon some of the most impressive individual swings during 2020. 

One of the top uncommitted seniors in Nebraska, Max Sanders took home the crown for the hardest hit ball in 2020 with this 101.1 mph laser during batting practice at the PBR Border Battle in August. 

 

Combine Sanders physical strength and linear bat path to the ball, it's no surprise to see the results. As he continues to refine as a hitter it won't be a surprise if he see more baseball leave the yard at the next level.  To compare this swing to what success this exact exit velocity and launch angle would have in a MLB game see below:
