PBR: Why did you choose Kansas City Kansas CC?

I chose Kansas City Kansas CC because it felt like the all round best fit for me. I really like all the coaches there and when I went down on my visit I had a chance to meet and practice with the guys and I really enjoyed it. The energy and atmosphere of their practice was something that I wanted to be apart of.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

I was considering all of the schools who offered me, but I narrowed it down between Kansas City Kansas, Garden City and Barton.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

They had been to some of our Legion Summer games, then a week or so before school started Coach Long reached out to me and expressed his interest and I put together a visit with him. We stayed in touch after that and I feel we have developed a good relationship.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

The location was a big factor in my decision.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

My parents and all of the coaches/teams I have played for or been a part of.

PBR: You play for the Nebraska Prospects in the fall, what has that experience been like?

It has been a great experience so far, it is my first fall playing competitively and we compete with everyone we play. It's been fun getting to meet new guys from other schools and getting the chance to develop friendships with them.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

They will have a returning catcher but expect me to compete with him.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

My most memorable moment was last Spring when we bounced back and made a run in the State Tournament after losing our first game to Creighton Prep.

PBR: Who is the hardest pitcher in the state to get a hit off of?

I have never had an at bat against him, but Kyle Perry. I have caught him a couple times this fall on the Nebraska Prospects and he can locate every one of his pitches for strikes in any count and has good velocity as well.
