Prep Baseball Report Nebraska's Elite 50 event took place on Sunday, May 20, 2018. The event was held at Westside High School in Omaha, NE. The event featured select prospects from the 2019, 2020 and 2021 grad classes; and included many breakout performances from the player's in attendance. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and college coaches; while also playing 14 innings. Thank you to the players, parents, my staff; along with the staff at Westside High School for such a great event.

There were a number of great individual performances this year at the PBR NE Elite 50. 

As we drill down into the statistics: (40 players in attendance)

+   30 players ran sub-7.2 60's.
+   27 players recorded 85+ mph exit velocities
+   13 players recorded 80+ mph infield throws
+   11 players recorded 80+ mph outfield throws
+   6 catchers recorded 70+ mph throws to second base
+   6 catchers recorded sub-2.1 pop times
+   19 pitchers were 80+ mph on the mound
