PBR: Why did you choose Missouri S&T?

I choose Missouri S&T because of the quality of the school.  It is a very good engineering school, which is what I want to go into.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Morningside, Doane, York, Truman State.
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
I sent an email to the coaching staff with a video of me pitching.  They emailed back, and we set up a visit.  I didn't meet them in person until the visit.
PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
The quality of the school.  I was more worried about the quality of my education before I was worried about my baseball career, and S&T was a good fit for both.
PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

As a baseball player, my coaches gave me the tools to be the best player I can be. They told me what I had to do to be a college baseball player, and allowed to make mistakes and to learn from those mistakes.

PBR: Going into your senior season this spring, what are your expectations for your team?
I expect us to go to State and to do well in the tournament.  I think our whole team will be disappointed if we fall short.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
That's a long time away, and there's a lot that can happen between now and then. I want to focus on this spring and summer first.
PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

My sophomore year I pitched against Creighton Prep (the first team to go to the legion world series).  I threw 8 innings and gave up 0 runs. It was one of my personal best performances.

PBR: Who is the best player you have competed against?

I have a few. Jamie Young, Creighton Silvain, and Austin Schultz
