Scouting Report

6-foot-4, 195-pound right-handed pitcher tops out in the 86-87 mph range with his fastball. Ranked #17 in the Nebraska 2017 class. Tall lanky projectable frame, should continue to develop strength. Long arm swing on backside, becomes compact and then clean out front. Fastball has life with varying run and sink.  Average feel for the strike zone with hammer breaking ball. 11/5 shape with good velo, tight spin, and very late depth. Hard 78-79 mph changeup with late run and sink.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
I was also considering UNK and University of Central Missouri.
PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
I believe that they first saw me pitch at Millard North during the summer. As the summer progressed we just stayed in touch and later set up a visit.
PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
The deciding factor for me was knowing people that are playing there right now and I also wanted to be a great program.
PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
My dad has helped me most to get to where I am today. He is always pushing me to do my best and telling me to follow my dreams. Coach Olsen and Bobby Bride both were a huge contributors in my recruiting process and developing me into the pitcher I am today.
PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
The coaches see me as being a contributor to the team  but just as everyone else I have to earn my spot.
PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
My most memorable baseball moments have been taking trips with all my past teammates throughout the country.
PBR: Who is the best player you have competed against?
Living in Colorado until sophomore year, the best player I have competed against was a kid out of Cherry Creek High school by the name Tanner Otremba who is now a Texas Tech commit.
