Scouting Report

6-foot-4, 180 pound right handed pitcher. Tall lean frame. Ranked in the top 40 of the 2018 class.  Fastball tops out in the mid to upper 80s. Heavy cut action. 75-77 mph breaking ball has tight spin but lacks depth. Mechanically repeats well for a lot of moving parts. Sporadic command at times.
Clean break from the backside, long finish out front. Athleticism in finish.

PBR: Why did you choose Milwaukee School of Engineering?

It's a great academic school that has the major I want to pursue, which is architectural engineering. I also wanted to put myself out of my comfort zone and move to a new city.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

I was considering walking on at UNO because I had received a regent scholarship there.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

Their assistant coach contacted me after watching one of my PBR showcase videos and I kept in touch after that.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

The deciding factor was definitely the coaches. After seeing the atmosphere that they are producing at practice and the commitment they've shown towards improving the team, it was a no brainer.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

I would definitely say Tom Oldham. After going through his program for two off seasons, I'm a whole new player. He taught me the mindset of training at 110% and it's improved my game immensely.

PBR: Going into your senior season this spring, what are your expectations for your team?

My expectations are the same as every season, go out onto the field with the right mindset and to compete every pitch.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

My best baseball memory was definitely winning the legion state championship this last summer.

PBR: Who is the best player you have competed or played with?

That's a tough decision, but I'd have to say either Caiden Hill or Caleb Feekin. It's amazing to see Caleb when he's in the zone tearing people apart on the mound. Caiden is by far the best teammate I've ever had though. The way he plays and carries himself on the field makes you want to compete with him, and he pushes you to become the best player you can be.
