PBR: Why did you choose Nebraska-Kearney?

I chose UNK because I felt that it was the right fit for me in every aspect and it is also nice to continue to play in here in my hometown.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

I was considering UNK, Northwest Missouri State, Iowa Western, Hutchinson CC

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

Growing up in Kearney I think that they first saw me in travel baseball and the relationship continued to grow throughout high school.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

I think that staying in my hometown and playing for UNK is an opportunity that was too hard to pass up.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

My dad has helped me more than I could ask for, from being my youth coach to throwing batting practice every week.

PBR: Going into your senior season next summer, what are your expectations for your team?

I expect my team to do well again this year after the run we had last year and the players we are returning.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

I plan to go in and be a utility player for them and just be able to fill any open spot there might be. Do anything necessary to get on the field.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

I will never forget memories from playing in the Little League World Series.

PBR: Who is the best player in the state you have competed against?

I would have to say Colby Gomes.
