PBR: Why did you choose Southeast?
Timmins:
I chose Southeast CC because it is close to home and Coach Parks believes he can develop me to become a much better pitcher. My family and friends will be able to come watch home games whenever they want too. They also are good at getting players to continue playing baseball at the next level.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Timmins:
Southwestern CC and Garden City CC

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
Timmins:
Coach Kreber contacted Coach Parks and I took a visit and they saw my videos on my PBR profile. When I took my visit I knew it would be a perfect fit for me. I believe they saw me during the Legion Area Tournament as well.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?
Timmins: I feel extremely relieved now that I have my school. I will be able to focus on playing and trying it make it to State.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?
Timmins: It really caught my eye on how they get players to continue playing baseball at the D1 level.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
Timmins:
My family and coaches. My dad has been my coach my whole life up until high school and he made me who I am today. Coach Kreber, Coach Frerichs, and Coach Huber are always telling me to work. I have developed a lot in high school because of them.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?
Timmins: The recruiting process was something I've never experienced before. The PBR camps helped a lot with getting my name out and Coach Kreber also helped me out by contacting coaches for me.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?
Timmins: Coach Parks wants me to come in and be an impact pitcher right away. They also want to get me stronger and develop more.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?
Timmins:
My most memorable baseball moment is when I threw a no hitter my freshman year in the summer. It's something I will never forget.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?
Timmins: Easily Cole Stobbe. He can do it all.
