PBR: Why did you choose Wayne State?

I chose Wayne State because I felt like this was the school for me, and it helped that my bestfriend went there last year, Carter Kocian.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
I was considering Hastings, Northwest Missouri State, Augustana, and Concordia.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?

Coach Clark and Coach Cook saw me first pitch against Creighton Prep during summer state, and Coach Clark followed me on twitter and asked for my phone number and that's how I got to know the coaching staff.
PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

There wasn't really one deciding factor besides the fact I got along with all the baseball guys right away.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?
My dad has helped me get to where I needed to be leading up to high school baseball and my first couple years of high school. My junior year is where I really made strides and my friend Collier Buttgen worked with me everyday and we both developed a lot.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Going into my freshman year Coach Clark and Cook think I can help us off the mound and play the field as well. I'll have to fight for it but i'm willing to put in the work to prove I belong there.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

The most memorable moment in baseball I have to date is playing Fremont last summer during districts and going all 9 locked in a slugfest and we came out on top which made it ever better.
PBR: Who is the best player in the state you have played against?

The best player I have played against in the state is Austin Schultz.
