PBR Scouting Report: Athletic right-handed pitcher who topped out at 86 mph with his fastball. Ball comes out of hand well. Stays tall in delivery with a clean hand break and long finish out front. Commands zone well. Fastball was 83-85 mph for quality strikes. 11/7 breaking ball with tight spin and sharp break in zone. Changeup was firm with good action in bottom of zone.

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
Tewes: Creighton, Drury, Concordia, UNK, Coffeyville, Hurchinson, Augustana, Kansas, Missouri State

PBR: Is there a favorite at this point in the process?
Tewes: Creighton and Drury are my two favorites. They both have high academic and athletic success which is intriguing to me.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
Tewes: I've taken a visit to Drury, and intend to take one to Creighton soon.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
Tewes: I would like to go somewhere where their baseball program is good, but still places academic success as a high priority. Also if they have a Physics/Engineering program.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
Tewes: Throwing a complete game shutout against Elkhorn South.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
Tewes: For myself: All-State and Super-State, for my team: getting back on track of winning our conference year in and year out, and getting to state.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?

Tewes: I play basketball as well.
