We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2020 CT/RI Fall Top Prospect Games. This was a great opportunity for 2021-2025 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

2020 CT/RI Fall Top Prospect Games - Quick Hits

The Position Players

  • Arturo Reyes, 2021- A monster left-handed hitter, a 6-foot-6, 240 pounds, a professional approach, drives the baseball to both gaps, lifted multiple balls out of the park. 
  • James Fagnant, 2024- A left-handed hitter, plus hands at the plate, line drive approach. 
  • Conor Kelley, 2023- A right-handed hitter, short quick stroke, gap power, super balanced.
  • Michael Ficocelli, 2023- A right-handed hitter, shows good bat speed and whip, swing is fluid, hammered the baseball in game play, collecting a home run. 
  • Luke Dawson, 2023- A right-handed hitter, athletic and physical. 
  • McAllister Burke, 2023- A right-handed hitter, lift and loft to swing with strength, clean actions on the left side of the infield.
  • Paul Genna, 2023- A right-handed hitter, took a solid round of batting practice, swing is advanced.
  • Nicolas Piscioniere- A right-handed hitter, swing is free and easy, athletic at both shortstop and behind the plate.
  • Evan Menzel, 2024- A left-handed hitter, swing and hands work, approach is advanced, needs to add strength.
  • Joel Collado, 2024- A right-handed hitter, put on a show, driving the baseball to both gaps. Opposite field approach with ease. Behind the plate is very sound, all throws on the bag.
  • Nicholas Bracale, 2021- A right-handed hitter, threw the baseball extremely well behind the plate, in game throws were impressive. At the plate, a simple balanced short quick approach.
  • Joshua Mikulski, 2023- A right-handed hitter, shows twitchy actions on both sides of the field.
  • Jack Larose, 2024- A left-handed hitter, took one of the better rounds of batting practice, 94 exit velocity, ran a 7.1 sixty-yard dash. 
  • Jackson Roloff, 2021- A right-handed hitter, major juice to all fields, an above average runner, with a big arm from outfield. Can play both 3rd and OF equally well. 
  • Benjamin Decroste, 2023- A right-handed hitter, shows promise with the stick, good pop to pull side.

The Arms

  • Conor Kelly, 2023- A right-handed pitcher, pounds the with a two-pitch mix, Fastball in the mid 70’s, working downhill from a higher slot.
  • Brandon Berean, 2023- A right-handed arm, arm action is short and whippy, super clean from a ¾ slot. The fastball reached 79 mph, the breaking ball shows depth and tilt as 65 mph.
  • Michael McCullagh, 2023- A right-handed pitcher, pounded the zone with a heavy two-pitch mix. The fastball reached 76 mph, threw a swing and miss, true curveball, and was relentless with  it.
  • Ryan Balzano, 2022- A left-handed pitcher, who was impressive and showed very well. Fastball up to 81 mph, with heavy sink to arm side. A slurvy breaker, multiple swing and misses, located for a strike and back foot breaker to righties. Good looking arm in class of 2022.
  • Ryan Thompson, 2024- A right-handed pitcher, shows major promise and projection. The arm action is super clean and free on the backside, working from a natural slot. The fastball touched 79 mph, with a late breaking slider. Look for this one to throw with big velocity down the road. 
  • Joseph Stawski, 2023- A right-handed pitcher, quick tempo motion, fastball moves to both sides at 77 mph. Mixed in both a curveball and changeup for strikes.
