Jack LaRose: SS/RHP, (2024) Bishop Hendricken, RI. Connecticut Commit, 6-foot-1, 195-pound solid frame. Above average and projectable in the box, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 96 mph. (79.9 mph bat speed average). (24.6 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic open stance with a wrapping controlled load, then used a closed small stride. Bat speed was quick, displayed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He created loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 75 mph; had a natural exchange, soft hands, and in control developing footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.22.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Future Games

A left-handed hitter, all fields approach, plus pop in the hands, swing is advanced. Showed enough arm from the left-side at 84 mph. Advanced approach at the plate, hard contact with a walk, stole second. Made all the plays in the field, with solid arm. Game 3, collected a clean single up the middle, also worked a walk, with a stolen base.college baseball player.

Jack LaRose: SS/RHP, (2024) Bishop Hendricken, RI. 6-foot, 185-pound athletic frame. Above average in the box, the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 94 mph. (69.79 mph bat speed average). (21.39 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is explosive, displays an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average in the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph; has athletic feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a loose arm action and a ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.4.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Position: SS/RHP

Body: 6-foot, 185-pound athletic frame.

Hit: (LHH) Above average. Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Explosive bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 94 mph exit velocity, average 89.38 mph. 69.79 mph bat speed average. 21.39 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Sure hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Above average.  Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. 

Arm: 80 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.40 (60-yard).
