We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2021 Scout Day: Boston Prospects. This was a great opportunity for 2021-2024 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2021 Scout Day: Boston Prospects - Quick Hits

THE BATS

  • Brian Foley - Foley uses a simple, balanced stroke to produce loud contact.
  • Anderson Hart - Hart showed quick hands and a gap to gap approach.
  • Jake Slauson - Slauson put on a show during his round. The right-handed hitting catcher showed big time juice.
  • Joe Norris - Norris showed a quick bat and the ability to hit a lot of hard line drives.
  • Tyler Proukou - Proulou uses a short, direct path to create some loud contact.

THE ARMS

  • Jordan Barthel - Barthel worked out of a higher slot, creating heavy sink on his mid 80’s fastball. 
  • Max Dio - Dio showed a mid 80’s fastball with late run and a hard, tight slider that reached 75 MPH.
  • Brian Foley - Foley gets heavy sink on a fastball that was up to 88 MPH. 
  • Teddy Massingham - Massingham showed a good breaking ball to go along with a fastball that was up to 85 MPH.
  • Conor Meehan - Meehan works out of an over-the-top slot, creating tilt on a fastball that sits in the low to mid 80’s.

THE DEFENDERS

  • Conor Meehan - Meehan has athletic actions, moves well laterally and showed a strong arm in the infield.
  • Max Dio - Dio showed a quick arm and good feet in the infield.
  • Brian Foley - Foley displayed his strong arm and athletic feet in the outfield.
