Max Dio: RHP/1B, (2022) Nauset, MA. 6-foot-1, 185-pound. Above average on the mound, showing above average arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose quick arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with a falling off shoulders during delivery. Lands open with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 86-87 mph; had control in the zone and running late action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2257; Avg 2087). Throws a 11/5 curveball that has tight action and around the zone control. (Max spin ; Avg ). His changeup (77-78) shows gradual fading action and arm side command. His sharp cutter (81-82) showed late action and around the zone control.

Body: 6-foot-1, 185-pound.

Pitching:  Above average. up-tempo delivery, some effort. high ¾ arm angle, above average arm speed, loose quick arm action. Consistent balance point, falling off shoulders, lands open, a falling off finish.

FB: T87. 86-87 mph. (Max spin 2257;  Avg 2087). In the zone accuracy, running late action, heavy movement. 

CT: 81-82 mph. Around the zone command, late action, sharp movement. 

CB: Around the zone control, tight action, 11/5 shape. 

CH: 77-78 mph. Arm side command, gradual fading action

Max Dio: RHP/1B, (2022) out of Nauset, MA, is a projectable 6-foot-1, 180-pound two way prospect. In the box, Dio clocked an exit velocity of 86 MPH. Dio showed an opposite field approach. Hitting out of a wide, squatty stance and using a closed stride. The bat path is flatter and he finishes through contact well. In the infield, he showed his live arm with a velocity of 90 MPH. He fields the ball out in front, has soft hands, and rhythmic footwork. He also ran a 60 time of 7.72. On the mound, Dio was impressive. He works out of an up tempo delivery and  a long ¾ arm slot. His slider (73-75 MPH) showed tight spin to go along with a heavy, sinking fastball at 85-86 MPH. He also flashed a curveball (70-72 MPH) with tight down action and a changeup (73-75 MPH) with good arm-speed.

Power: 86 mph exit velocity, average 73.99 mph. 62.93 mph bat speed average. 20.49 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, rhythmic footwork.  

Arm: 90 mph infield velocity. Long arm action, ¾ slot. 

Speed: 7.72 (60-yard).

Pitching: Max effort. ¾ arm angle, long arm action. 

FB: T86. 85-86 mph. (Max spin 2167;  Avg 2098). Heavy movement. 

CB: 70-72 mph. Tight action. 

CH: 73-75 mph. Gradual action. 

SL: 73-75 mph.

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 80-81 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is small in shape, sitting 72-74 mph. The changeup is a developing pitch, sitting at 69-71 mph. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The tracking of the front shoulder is solid and the arm works freely. The backside drive can be improved, as he drags the backside a bit.  Solid prospect with a good upside.
