Scouting Report
Hansen is a 6-foot-1 OF/RHP from Manalapan High School and Gallagher Team Mizuno. Hansen had a very impressive day and may have been the prospect to most improve his stock. The athletic outfielder ran a 7.08 in the 60-yard dash and displayed his bat speed with a 90 mile-per-hour exit velocity. He showed excellent range in the outfield, throwing 89 in the showcase portion and throwing out a runner at 3rd from deep RF during the game portion. His batting practice was equally as impressive. He hit from a slightly open athletic stance and used a small toe tap trigger for timing. He had a smooth gradual load of his hands and weight and showed a quick stick with a level plane. He had some extension after contact and remained balanced throughout. He hammered two balls in the game off of quality pitching.

Hansen was awesome in his simulated inning on the mound. He uses a large rocker step and an up-tempo delivery. He pitched from a high ¾ arm slot and has a traditional long arm action with plus arm speed. He pitched with an angled fastball at 84-88 MPH and showcased his tight downer breaking ball late in counts (73-76 MPH). Hansen is a legitimate division-one two-way prospect and I am interested to see where he ends up.
