Scouting Report
Ahn already possesses a very physical build and has an above average mindset which is an intangible that is made clear as day the second you see him take the field. He is relaxed and balanced in the box and has a smooth transition into his load. His lower half is very explosive which allows him to generate above average bat speed. He does occasionally become a front side hitter but he makes up for it with good hands and pitch recognition. Definitely has raw power potential. He has good approach steps when taking a ground ball and has a smooth transfer to go along with current arm strength. His hands aren’t as soft as typical shortstops so he may project better at 3B. He has high upside, especially as an offensive threat. Committed to Navy.
