Team Select
+ 2019 RHP Landon Rascoe (Oak Grove, MS) had a solid one inning of work showing a loose arm action with quick hand speed sitting 88-92 mph with fastball
+ 2020 RHP Lucas Quezada (Denver School of Arts, CO) has a projectable frame with loose arm action. He threw one scoreless inning locating his fastball well at 85-87 mph, also throwing a 67 mph changeup.
+ 2019 1B/C Colin Frederickson (St. Stanislaus, MS) showed off his solid left handed stroke going 1-2 on the day with a RBI double to right center field.
+ 2019 RHP Jack Povey (Red Bank Regional, NJ) has a long limb, wiry frame with quickness in his arm action. He sat 85-89 mph with fastball, and for his secondary offering he threw a 73-74 mph breaking ball with solid depth.
+ 2019 SS/2B Cole Posey (Georgetown, TX) showed fluid footwork working through the baseball athletically. Offensively, the right-handed hitter put together several quality at-bats, showing a loose swing with bat speed.
+ 2019 RHP Garret Simpson (Bullitt East, KY) had an efficient day on the mound and worked with a quick tempo. He sat 83-84 mph with fastball, also showing a slider at 78-79 mph.
+ 2019 Chandler Best (McGill Toolen Catholic, AL) throws from a high-3/4 slot working his fastball between 83-85 mph. His curveball showed 11/5 shape at 69-71 mph with gradual depth.
+ 2020 C/3B Austin Embrey (Russell County, AL) showed solid athleticism behind the dish with soft hands receiving and quick, clean transfers and a quick, easy arm. The rising sophomore posted pop times of 2.05 and 2.08 between innings.
+ 2019 SS/2B Dante Ciaramella (Monmouth Regional, NJ) smoked a triple to right-centerfield and was a 4.82 on the turn at first base from the right side. Defensively he made two nice plays, one on a pop-up in the right field triangle while playing second base. The second was hanging in on a tag at second base to end an inning.
+ 2019 OF John Tyler Mounce (Cypress Christian, TX) is an athletic, fast-twitch left-handed hitter. He took a solid swing against a 90+ mph fastball and was on time, but just missed the barrel, hitting a fly ball to right field with a 5.83-second hang time. Mounce then walked in his next two at bats.
+ 2019 Julian Greenwell (Columbus East, IN) took some of the best swings of the day for team select. The left-handed hitter laced a fastball off his shoe-tops to center field with two strikes, then put together a nine pitch at bat where he battled hard and hit ground ball to first base.
+ 2019 SS/2B Brendan Carrane (St. Rita, IL) is a fast-twitch, left-handed hitting middle infielder. He had two quality drag bunt attempts to third base, including a base hit in his second at bat where he ran a 3.79 to first base.
+ 2019 C/OF Caleb Munton (Wylie, TX) is a switch hitter with power from both sides. From the left-side he was 1-for-2 with a hard ground ball through the middle.
