OUTLOOK
After a successful 2017 campaign which saw The Kings Christian School go all the way to the National Christian School Championship in Tennessee, the Knights will look at unfinished business after finishing second overall at the tournament. Coach John Scanzano returns SS Connor VanDine a stable fielder and consistent bat at the top of the order, as well as C/RHP Masami Yamauchi who has a chance to produce some big numbers at the plate and on the mound. Transfer RHP/INF Jake Andrey brings a high 80s type arm to the staff as well as a powerful punch to the middle of the order. Andrey was a participant at the Future Games in August for Team New Jersey. A repeat to the National Championship will be a gauntlet with New Foundations (PA) and Barrack Academy (PA) returning some key players, but expect the Knights to make some noise in their own right.
