The Hotlist: Top Uncommitted 2016 Infielders

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

Recently, we’ve looked at the top uncommitted 2016 pitchers and catchers. Sticking with the theme of uncommitted seniors, this week’s Hotlist highlights infielders from the PBR coverage area that remain on the recruiting market.

Brad Aldred, 3B, Anderson Collegiate SS, ON
At 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, Aldred has a well-proportioned frame with room to add strength. The No. 4 prospect in Ontario, Aldred has strong hands and wrists that give him bat speed and power from the left side. His hands are loose, relaxed and work well to the ball. He does a good job of keeping the bat head in the zone and can turn on premium velocity. Defensively, he made the switch to third base this summer after playing the outfield. He has an above-average arm and is sneaky on the bases. He runs a 7.15-second 60 and his speed plays better in game.
