BRETON BUTTON-SIBLEY1B / 3B / GLACE BAY , NS / 2020Report: A big, physical first baseman, Breton Sibley could probably walk onto campus and compete right away. At 6-foot-4, 265-pounds, Sibley is already a fairly strong high schooler. The exit velo sits in the low 90s, but with time it has a chance to climb. Defensively he’s likely bound for first base, but the hands play a bit as well. NOLAN CHEESEMANOF / RHP / SIR JOHN A MACDONALD, NS / 2022Report: He’s 5-foot-8, 150-pounds, and he plays the outfield, but Nolan Cheeseman is a 6.84 runner and has a chance to be something of a leadoff man at the JUCO level. At the plate it’s a bit loud right now, he doesn’t always get his timing on, but overall he just needs to get more physical. When that happens he’s run faster, and more than likely hit a bit, too. In the outfield, he makes his plays, and the arm is high 70s right now. CAMDEN RENDELLOF / 1B / KING'S-EDGEHILL, NS / 2021Report: Without question one of the best overall players in the Maritimes in the 2021 class, Rendell’s arm in the outfield is up to 88 right now, and it’ll likely climb as he matures. His body is 6-foot-1, 195-pounds but with time he’ll gain some athleticism. Rendell can hit from the left side, too. An 88 exit velo back at our event in Dartmouth means he could probably be in the 90s by the time he gets to college if he does what he’s supposed to. DUNCAN PICKETTSC / 1B / KENSINGTON , PE / 2021Report: Another big strong left-handed bat out of the Maritimes, no one’s really got the bat speed that Duncan Picketts does. With regular 96’s and a 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame, he’s not even polished yet but there’s something there. It’s tough to look away from really loud numbers, and this is no exception.
