Scouting Report

2021 Outlook: Mackenzie is someone who is going to benefit from adding size and strength to his frame and reports have been he is doing just that. We saw in the fall and there was actions that were present and worked, while he just needed the strength to make take the next steps in his development. That will help on both sides of the ball and really see his numbers trend up. On the mound, it is repeatable, working on-line from a clean, 3/4 slot. He gets on top of the ball and pitches with angles while the curveball has shape that suggests there is more depth while it was a good sign that the velo range was 69-72 with the deuce. Pay attention to Mackenzie as there is a good chance you're going to see his numbers jump in 2021.
9/12/20
Numbers: Ran a 7.64 in the sixty and had an outfield velo of 80 mph while the exit velocity was 71 mph off the tee. On the mound he topped out at 81 mph while there was feel for the secondary with shape to the CB and showed run on his changeup.
Actions: You can dream on Mackenzie as there is actions to both sides of the ball and he has the ability and room to add and carry more weight and size.
