We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio's 2021 Ohio Top Prospect Games. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2022-2025 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2021 Ohio Top Prospect Games: Quick Hits - The Southpaws Showed Out

Parker Dillhoff LHP / OF / Lebanon, OH / 2022

Report: Now that college coaches are back on the road, a name that you would assume has to be near the top of the list of “must see” guys is LHP ‘22 Parker Dilhoff (Lebanon HS). The physical traits jump off the page...6-foot-4, up to 89mph in less than ideal conditions, while also spinning a wipeout slider in the upper 70s. A guy that has made steady jumps over the past year and now offers elite stuff.

Brenden Garula LHP / OF / Mason, OH / 2022

Report: ‘22 LHP Brenden Garula (Mason) showed some of the sharpest stuff we saw at the entire event which is saying something. Had a start on friday came back on short rest still showing a mid 80s fastball, a hammer of a breaking ball and analytically one of the top changeups we saw at the event. Flat out nasty stuff from Garula who on full rest you could easily see in the upper 80s.

Braden Gebhardt LHP / 1B / Howland, OH / 2022

Report: Another arm that had a very solid showing is ‘22 LHP Braden Gebhardt (Howland HS). The 6-foot-2 southpaw looks the part physically out there. Velocity wise he will show you a mid 80s fastball that he can move around the zone both vertically and horizontally. Secondary stuff he will flash a heavy dose of an above average breaking ball that he has obvious feel for and a playable changeup.

Johnathon Allen LHP / Wadsworth, OH / 2022

Report: ‘22 LHP Johnathon Allen (Wadsworth HS) has been on every sleeper list we’ve put out over the past two season. Lanky lefty with pitchability through the roof and a ton of projection left on frame and each time we see him he gets closer to that high ceiling of his. On this day he hit a personal best on the gun at 88mph with the heater while also showing his typical array of sharp secondary.

Jacob Tabor LHP / OF / Olentangy Orange, OH / 2023

Report: ‘23 LHP Jacob Tabor out of Olentangy Orange continues to creep towards that giant ceiling of his. Velo continues to tick up, peaking at 86mph while showing an improved breaking ball. Expect him to continue to make jumps as he fills out a 6-foot-3 frame that still has plenty of room to add.

Luke Pappano LHP / OF / St. Xavier, OH / 2025

Report: It’s hard to believe you’re watching a guy who hasn’t taken a high school class yet when 2025 LHP Luke Papano steps on the hill. Physical for class yet still has room to add with advanced stuff across the board. Mid 80s heater that can climb up to 87mph w/a breaking ball that has a chance to be a wipeout pitch down the road. Not exactly a bold statement here but expect him to receive attention earlier rather than later from college scouts.
