PBR: Why did you choose Toledo?

Bennett: Coaching staff, positive team attitude, campus, academics

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Bennett: Kent State, Lake Erie College, Norte Dame of Ohio, Tiffin, Tri-C

PBR: Where did the Coach Mee first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?

Bennett: At a Toledo showcase last summer

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?

Bennett: Coaching staff, positive team atmosphere and I can potentially make an immediate impact

PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that you will help Rocket baseball?

Bennett: Strength - my athleticism and positive personality which will hopefully help the team

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?

Bennett: Lake Erie Warhawks - memorable experiences - playing at University of Michigan, Norte Dame, Eastern Michigan, and Valparaiso

PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team next spring?

Bennett: Improve my hitting and fielding and get bigger, faster and stronger. Help the teamteamates improve and win the PAC conference title for Clearview High School

PBR: What were your stats for last spring?

Bennett: 504 hitting; 534 OBP; 36 stolen bases w/o being caught

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced?

Bennett: I don't remember one in particular pitcher, but all the pitchers from my summer league were pretty tough.
