PBR: Why did you choose Kentucky?

Music: I chose Kentucky because when I first visited there I loved everything about it, the coaches, very competitive atmosphere, the school itself and many other things. It all just felt right when I was there.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Music: Miami Of Ohio , Cincinnati, Ohio State, Penn State, Kent State, Indiana,Xavier

PBR:  Where did Kentucky first see you compete?

Music: I went to one of there camps then they watched me a few times after that at midland. Also in Fort Myers this fall.

PBR: You are only a junior, how important was it to make you college decision so early? Are you finished with the recruiting process?

Music: It was a big decision because choosing where you want to go to college this early is kinda crazy to think about but I feel really good about my decision. Yes

PBR: The SEC is a major baseball conference.  How much of a factor was playing in the SEC in your decision?

Music: That was a big factor because I not only want to compete with the best, but also play the best teams. Also my dream was to pitch in the SEC one day.

PBR: You were on pretty much every major program radar screen.  What were expectations about the recruiting process and what advice can you give future players as they go through their recruitment?

Music: One big thing is to not rush the process it takes time to visit schools and talk it over with the family and coaches and what you feel would be the best fit for yourself. Go where you want to go. 

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable experience?

Music: I played for the Midland Tomahawks last year and one of the most memorable experiences was being able to play at a couple of tournament at Lake Point complex which is a experience to be in that environment. Also the Futures Games was something that I never forget. 

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?

Music: I would have to say my grandpa because he has been helping me for a 6-7 years now to get me where I am now. He has a lot of knowledge about the game and is always exposing me to the best coaches out there.

PBR:  What were you stats last spring?

Music: 29.1 IP 6-0 1 save 32 ks 1.13 WHIP 1.43 ERA
