On January 19th prospects from around the state headed to the Diamond League Winter Prospect Camp at Brunswick B.A.T. Cage.

Below we look to highlight the top unsigned senior performances as well as the top underclass pitchers and position players.

Top Unsigned Seniors: Diamond League Prospects Camp


Anthony Savarino, RHP, Olmsted Falls, 2015
Scouting Report: Taller, lankier projectable pitcher’s build. The right-handed pitcher uses a short leg kick in his regular effort delivery.

Top Underclass Pitchers: Diamond League Prospects Camp


Caleb Homan, RHP, Strongsville, 2016

Scouting Report: Taller, average body frame. The Right-handed pitcher’s delivery requires regular effort. He throws using a shorter arm action coming from a ¾ slot using average arm speed.

Top Underclass Position Players: Diamond League Prospects Camp


Ben Pratt, INF, Tallmadge, 2016

Scouting Report: Average to smaller middle infielder’s body frame. In the infield, he shows good footwork fielding through the baseball, fields out front with his hands nicely, shows quicker transfer from glove to throw, could improve arm strength.
