PBR Spotlight Game: Division IV battle No. 22 Edon at No. 2 Tinora

Defiance, OH - Northwest Ohio has numerous talented Division IV schools and two of them squared off on Tuesday night, No. 2 Tinora and No. 22 Edon. The Rams topped the Bombers 2-1.

Unsigned senior Derek Drewes (rated number 135 in the 2014 class, pictured right) roped a leadoff single to start the sixth inning, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on a sacrifice fly to give the Rams a 2-1 win over the Bombers.

Tinora got on the board first thanks to an RBI single by San Jacinto JUCO commit Clay Pittman (ranked number 175 in the 2014 class), which scored the starting RHP for the Rams, EJ Kissel. 

Edon answered back on an RBI single by unsigned senior River Wicker in the fifth. However, with the bases loaded and two outs, Tinora's unsigned senior centerfielder Reid Renollet (ranked 131 in 2014 class, pictured left) made a nice running catch to save three runs.

Kissel (pictured right), who started for Tinora on the mound went five innings allowing one run on two hits and four walks while striking out seven.

Edon's sophomore LHP Landon Bloir went the distance for the Bombers allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out 10.
