PBR: Why did you choose Wright State?

Randolph:Tthe proximity to home and very good relationship with Coach Lovelady and Coach Parker

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Randolph: Ball State and Ohio:

PBR:  Coach Lovelady was just recently hired as the new coach at WSU.  How does it feel to be a part of his first recruiting class? 

Randolph: Cool to be part of the first class and carry on the great tradition of winning baseball at Wright State

PBR:  Coach Lovelady has been at Wright State as an assistant for quite a while, How will that help him adjust to his new position?

Randolph: He knows the region for recruiting, the current players and what type of players will be successful there

PBR:  Where did the Coach Lovelady first see you compete and how did your relationship develop with the rest of the coaching staff?

Randolph: He first saw me at a high school game and then saw me pitch most of my games this summer. Coach Parker began talking to me after he first saw me later in the summer. 

PBR: What role does the coaching staff expect you to play during your first year on campus?

Randolph: To compete for innings and gain experience throughout the year

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?

Randolph: My Dad who coached me for years, then last summer cheered me from the stands. He also, helped me thru the recruiting process

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most exciting experience playing summer ball?

Randolph: Last year I played for Raptors Elite, before those 8 years with Hornets Elite. Most exciting was winning Raptors tournament. I threw 1 hit shutout, my teammates Zach Kendall threw no hit shut out, Cody Lyons threw 3 hit, 1 run game to win the tournament

PBR: What were your stats last season for Miamisburg?

Randolph: .417, 3 HR, 12 2B, 28R, 25RBI, 0-2 2.97 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 37K in 33 IP

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter you have faced in Ohio?

Randolph:Zach Beckner from Lebanon
