PBR: Why did you choose Florida Tech?
Marzheuser: Florida Tech has a solid baseball program where I can contribute and great coaches. The school offers several educational opportunities for me.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Marzheuser: I visited UC, Miami and Dayton
PBR: Where did the coaches first see you? How did your relationship develop with them?
Marzheuser: At the 17U WWBA National Championships in Georgia. The coach saw me pitch against East Cobb Bulldogs and I visited Florida Tech in August.
PBR: Was distance from home a factor in your decision?
Marzheuser: Yes, but I have family in Florida.
PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Marzheuser: Starting pitcher probably during the week.
PBR: You have participated in numerous PBR events. How has PBR helped you with the recruiting process?
Marzheuser: It allowed a lot of coaches to see me.
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable experience?
Marzheuser: Cincinnati Flames and traveling with Coach Josh Spring.
PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
Marzheuser: Coach Josh Spring, my parents and my Grandpa
PBR: What were your stats this spring season at Mason?
Marzheuser: 8 appearances, 5-1 record, IP: 38, K: 50, ERA: 1.66, WHIP: 1.21
PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced in Ohio?
Marzheuser: Bryan Soth from Moeller and my teammate on the Cincy Flames
