Dayton Carroll's Tyler Seymour became the first commitment in Wright State's class of 2014, but with Rob Cooper moving on to Penn State, the left-handed hitting first baseman and pitcher has reopened his recruitment.

"Last November, I verbally committed to Coach Rob Cooper and Wright State University as a first baseman," he explained.

Seymour continued, "As you may know, Coach Rob Cooper has accepted the position of head baseball Coach at Penn State University. Due to these recent changes, my commitment to WSU is no longer accepted."

Now, Seymour is waist-deep in the recruiting process again with visits and camp appearances.

The 6-foot-2, 160-pound prospect has been in contact with Ashland University, Indiana University, Tiffin University, Marietta, Moorehead State, Bellarmine, Youngstown State, Eastern Kentucky, and Ohio Dominican.

He noted, "Each school has a strong baseball program and the academics I am looking for which is a degree in business."
