From August 2nd through August 5th, PBR Ohio will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2019, 2020 and 2021 to represent Ohio at the PBR Future Games in Westfield Indiana at Grand Park.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, 100 colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every DI power conference in the country. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons will be considered.

Scouting Report

3/19/17
The top arm we saw on the day, that shows all the signs of being a top of the class talent. Delivery is smooth and easy. Very mechanically efficient with clean arm action with impressive arm speed. Ball comes out of his hand well with his fastball sitting 79-82 mph. Secondary stuff is well above average for his age as well. A definite name to get to know. In the outfield he showed athleticism to his actions and plays through the ball confidently. Uses a big crow hop for momentum. Throws were on target with impressive arm strength. At the plate he has advanced natural tools for his age. Ball jumps off his bat, showing flashes of power potential. Projects more on the mound at this stage but tools at the plate are loud as well.
60-yard dash: 7.49
Infield Velocity: 76
Outfield Velocity: 82
Exit Velocity: 89

3/19/16
6-foot-1, 170-pound prospect with mature frame for his age. On the mound the southpaw impressed with his three-pitch mix. Working through a high-¾ slot he sat 76-79 mph with his fastball on a downward plane. His used a power curveball with a 1/7 shape that had late break to it. Changeup was thrown near fastball armspeed with late action at 66-70 mph.  Long arm action from ¾ slot with a top velocity of 75 mph. Moves well around the bag. Natural feel for the position. Smooth swing from the left side. Aggressive approach. Ball jumps off bat and is able to use all fields. Very good hitter.
